French Antique 19th.C Hand Carved Stone Griffin Wall Shelf
A magnificient French antique hand carved wall shelf made of stone from the nineteenth century. This extraordinary piece is beautifully designed with a winged Gothic style animal resembling a gargoyle or griffin hanging the "Rinceau" decor (foliage). It is the perfect shelf to display a statue.
Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description. The top and the back have been covered by plaster to get a smooth surface. Antique condition with some signs of ages: the head of the chimera is broken, and there are two small splinters on the foliage (photos 3 and4).
