RARE Large Silvered Bronze Holy Water Font / Stoup - Archangel
A magnificent and large French antique holy water font in high relief, made of silvered bronze.
It represents an archangel holding a cross in one hand and a holy water font decorated with three angel heads in the other. It is out of silver plated and gilded bronze. Very fine chiseling. This stoup is not signed but of barbedienne quality.
It is in good condition. Note: wear of the silver and a very small crack at the bottom of the font (see photo).
