Frecourt Wax Seal and Letter Opener
Beautiful early 20th century desk set produced by the French sculptor Maurice Frecourt who worked from 1890 to 1961. He was famous since the 1920's for his animals works. This desk set includes a wax seal with no initials and a letter opener. Each piece is made of bronze and signed Frecourt. The top of both depicts a stylized foliage of horse chestnut (named in French model "marronnier"). Art Nouveau design.
