Empire Sarreguemines Sugar Bowl
A stunning French antique and rare sugar bowl made of fine yellow faience (earthenware) by Sarreguemines. This fine pottery is called "terre de Naples". The decor features a black frieze of grapevine. The sugar bowl displays an Empire shape with a conical lid. It dates from the early 19th century, around 1830. At this time, this kind of pieces were unmarked.
It is a very rare piece produced by Sarreguemines. Do not miss it !
