Biography of Marcel Recher (1926):

1961: LONDON The Tate Gallery exhibits his paintings.
1966: U.S.A.: Space pioneer Colonel Frank BORMAN receives him at NASA to evoke the reflections of colors from space to Earth.
1966 : DALLAS - Texas : He creates the "Conception Art" inspired by abstract art.
1967 : ISRAEL : He visits and paints Jerusalem. A collection of 20 paintings.
1968 : He proposes to NASA a metal structure 150 m high to commemorate the first steps of man on the moon.
1969: Proposal by the artist of an artistic and also scientific structure to capture the vibrations of the moon, which appear at the ends of the moving structure.
1970: To allow the public to better understand the real "grandeur" of architectural and modular metal structures, the artist develops his talent as a photographer.
1972: The painter is invited to Cape Kennedy - Florida - for the launch of APOLLO 17. Marcel Récher illustrated the event in 20 paintings.
1973 : He introduced the American press, present at NASA, Houston for APOLLO 17, to "Functional Art", in 3-dimensional, modular, with a structure commemorating the conquest of space.

1982: A delegation from New Orleans asked the artist to represent France by 30 paintings (195/130 cm), mostly ships, at the 300 th festivities dedicated to France, with the agreement of the French government. 7,500 visitors to this exhibition.
1982: During the organization of the future world exhibition in New Orleans, the artist proposed a modular structure in 3 dimensions of 50 m high, 600 m long, crossing the Mississippi River.
This structure was not realized because the architects and financiers estimated its cost at $60 million.
1983: Mr. Ronald REAGAN - President of the United States - sends him a letter of congratulations for the "autographed photo of the President" of 1982, during the exhibition in Louisiana.
1971 - 1983 : The painter devotes part of his work to painting boats of all types, old cars exhibited in the Schlumpf collection at the National Automobile Museum in Mulhouse (Alsace).
1986: Trophy - Grand Prix - for the national artistic poster of the sports car at the 1986 Chamonix festival.
