A fabulous French rosary, made of gold on sterling silver (vermeil), from the Art Nouveau period, circa 1900s. The mater beads are made of faceted purple crystal to make it easy to pray. Each of the beads measure 5mm long. Each Pater beads are separated by tiny medals depicting a religious decor:

_ Miraculous medal
_ Mater Dolorosa
_ Madonna and Child

The purple color of these beads is geogeous and hard to capture in pictures with the lighting. The fine centerpiece finely features Virgin Mary. The ornate crucifix is gorgeous, it depicts Mary, Joseph, the Holy Spirit and Jesus child portraits.

They don't make rosaries of this quality anymore.

This beautiful religious jewelry would be a great Communion gift. Good antique condition with some normal signs of ages. It is an authentic French rosary of almost 100 years old.
