Pierrefonds Stoneware Crocodile

A fabulous early 20th century crocodile sculpture made of Pierrefonds stoneware (sandstone). The glaze is beautiful. It is rare to find a such long piece. It measures 23 1/4 inches long (59cm). It bears the deep mark of Pierrefonds and the number 551.

Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description. Good antique condition with some signs of ages: the tail was repaired.
