This is an antique French Communion medal, dating to the Art Nouveau period, made of solid sterling silver. It has been hallmarked.. The Christian pendant has been engraved "First Communion" (1ère Communion). On the reverse, it has been engraved: Baptism, Communion, Confirmation.

This gorgeous small medal remains a perfect first Holy Communion gift nowadays.
