This is an antique French religious medal made by the famous French engraver Penin Poncet. The pendant features Our Lady Virgin Mary with fine details.

"O Marie conçue sans peché, priez pour nous"
"O Mary conceived without sins, pray for us"

The reverse crown of flowers and the inscriptions:

"Congregation de la Sainte Vierge" ("Congregation of the Holy Virgin")
"Paroisse de St François de Sales" ("Parish of St. Francis de Sales")

"The Congregation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Marian congregation and religious association for lay Catholics founded in Rome in 1560 by a Jesuit professor of the Roman College, John Leunis, who placed it under the patronage of "Mary, Help of Christians."
