A beautiful French religious pendant made of bronze dating to the early 20th century. The amulet finely depicts Jesus child with fine details surrounded by the words "Congregation des enfants de Jesus" (Congregation of Jesus Children). The reverse depicts Our lady of Perpetual Help. "Our Lady of Perpetual Help (also known as Our Lady of Perpetual Succour) is a Roman Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with a 15th-century Byzantine icon with an alleged Marian apparition." "The image that this medal depicts is the story of the two angels who appeared to the toddler Jesus, holding in their hands the cross and the tools of the crucifixion.
