Antique French Majolica Gurgling Fish Pitcher Jug Vase
An antique French majolica pitcher from 20th century. The gorgeous shape features a colorful Gurgling fish between reeds and seaweeds. Beautiful color of the scales.
Pitcher to be identified: I do not know the faience factory. Certainly French or Belgian. This pitcher has the number 998.
To note: a small crack and a jump of enamel at the level of the mouth of the fish (see photos), otherwise good condition.
CONDITION :
Good antique condition with some normal signs of wears.
