RARE French Vintage Vase Sèvres Earthenware Jean Mazeaud Jean Faverot 1930
An amazing and rare vase from the Manufacture Sèvres workshops . On the underside, it bears the following marking: "Les ateliers de céramique made in France, SMF Sèvres Mazeaud faverot".
The Manufacture de Sèvres is the last of the porcelain factories to perpetuate its centuries-old know-how. It was founded by Louis XV. Now state-owned, it continues to produce world-renowned works. The technique is marbled and enhanced with gilding, which is found on both the shower base and the top.
Good antique condition with some normal signs of wears.
