19th C. Religious Paperolle Reliquary
A beautiful French antique large 19th century reliquary with decorations of a heart of Mary in its center.
The amount of paperolle scrolls, which fill the entire field of the design, is astonishing. Each small it of paper has been hand painted with rich colors of yellow and red decorated with metal beads and flowers and golden garlands.
With 3 relics :

- Ste Chantal
- St François de Sales
The frame is in blackened wood and the glass is curved.
There are 3 wax seals at the back. The ribbon is worn but the reliquary has never been opened.
