A stunning French set of six Art Deco metal knife rests, circa 1920. They are made of chrome plated metal by Argit silversmith in the early 20th century. They feature two animals by knife holder facing each other. There are two roosters fighting for a snail, two monkeys pulling a rope etc...

The figural world animals includes the following:
- 2 monkeys
- one elephant
- one pelican
- one swan
- one rooster

This set of cutlery rests is beautiful and would be stunning on a festive table. Good condition with some signs of ages. The chrome plating is worn. Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
