A fabulous French rosary, made of sterling silver, from the Art Nouveau period, around the 1900's. The mater and pater beads are made of bloodstone beads. Each of the mater and pater beads measure between 4 and 5mm. The color of the rosary is geogeous and hard to capture in pictures with the lighting. Some beads are darker than the others and one Pater beads is black and faceted. The unusual centerpiece finely features Jesus Christ. The hallmarked crucifix is very ornate.
They don't make rosaries like this anymore. Do not miss it.
It is hallmarked on the cross ring and on the centerpiece.
This uncommon religious jewelry would be a great Communion gift. Nice antique condition with some normal signs of ages, one link is fragile. It is an authentic French rosary of almost 100 years old.
Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
