A fabulous French rosary, made of sterling silver, from the Art Nouveau period, around the 1900's. The mater and pater beads are made of blue faceted crystal beads. The pater beads are finely capped with openwork sterling silver caps. Each of the mater and pater beads measure between 8 and 9mm. The blue color of the rosary is geogeous and hard to capture in pictures with the lighting. The centerpiece and the cross are lovely.
They don't make rosaries like this anymore. Do not miss it.
It is hallmarked on the cross ring and on the centerpiece.
This uncommon religious jewelry would be a great Communion gift. Nice antique condition with some normal signs of ages, a sterling silver cap is missing on one bead and there a small hole under the cross (picture5) . It is an authentic French rosary of 100 years old.
Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
