

Gien Rambouillet Plate Black Dog Pheasant
A gorgeous French vintage plate produced by Gien's pottery factory in the 1970's. It belongs to the Rambouillet service on the theme of hunting. Its name is a reference to the French forest of Rambouillet located near Paris and which was a forest where the French King used to hunt. The decor has been totally hand painted and features a black hunting dog holding a pheasant. It measures 9 inches diameter, dessert / luncheon plate.
Condition: overall good vintage condition.
