Milk Opaline Box
This is a lovely white opaline box made by Portieux. It is decorated with shells and three dolphins. It dates from the begining of the 20th century and the gilt is still bright. Original and authentic gilt.
Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description. It is in nice antique condition with some signs of ages like a small splinter inside on a gold rim (photo 3).
