A charming French vintage drawing dating to the mid-century. It features a Griffon dog portrait in a post-impressionist manner. The charkoal and chalk drawing has been signed in the right bottom by the artist Peccadet. Peccadet was the nickname used by the painter Edouard Pannetier (1919-1995) to sign his work of art. He worked in Paris and Bandol (south of France) and mixed with the most famous artists of this time as Picasso or Alberto Giacometti.
The work of art is only framed by a paper mount, so you could add it the frame you wish.
Good antique condition with some normal signs of ages on paper. The paper of the painting is stuck with tape on its bottom part to the paper of the mount. It could be easily removed. Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
View of the drawing: 18 1/8" x 10 1/2" (46 x 26.8cm)
Paper mount: 24 3/4" x 18 1/4" (62.7 x 46.3cm)
