St Luc Statue
This is a stunning French wall sculpture made of terra-cotta from the 18th century. It finely depicts a Gospe figure: Saint Luc, the evangelist. Saint Luc wrote the third Jesus Christ Gospel. This statue used to be in a private chapel in Burgundy close to Nuits Saint George with four others terra-cotta sculptures depicting saints which you can find in my store.
Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description. It is in nice antique condition with some signs of ages like some terra-cotta splinters on the base, a splinter on a horn, a splinter on one ear and the pencil of the right hand is missing.
