A fabulous French Saint Joan of Arc rosary, made of gilt silver (called vermeil in French), from the Art Nouveau period, around the 1900's. The mater and pater beads are made of yellow faceted crystal beads. Each of the mater and pater beads measure between 6 and 8mm. The yellow color of the rosary is geogeous and hard to capture in pictures with the lighting. The unusual centerpiece and cross finely features iris in the Art Nouveau style. The georgous rosary comes with two silver plate medals. The first features Saint Joan of Arc by Lasserre and the second features Our Lady of Help.
They don't make rosaries like this anymore. Do not miss it.
It is hallmarked on the cross ring and on the centerpiece.
This uncommon religious jewelry would be a great Communion gift. Nice antique condition with some normal signs of ages, some beads are used (see pictures). It is an authentic French rosary of 100 years old.
Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
