Large Crystal Rosary
This is a wonderful French rosary from the late 19th century, Art Nouveau period. The catholic necklace is made of solid sterling silver and 59 faceted crystal beads. The six Pater beads are finely framed by a sterling silver cap. The large openwork cross and centerpiece are beautifully crafted.
This religious jewelry would be a great Communion gift and is in good antique condition with some normal signs of ages: Jesus Christ body has a crack near the feet, a small chain piece seems to be missing near the centerpiece (see photos) and a Pater bead misses its sterling silver cap. This rosary is an authentic French rosary of more than 100 years old, of high quality, long and heavy.
It can be worn by an adult as a necklace.
