A rare antique religious medal dating to the 19th century or earlier. The large metal pendant depicts Saint Stanislaus de Kostka, (1550 (Poland) 1568 (Italy) was a Polish Jesuit novice. Having fled from his family and brothers in order to enter the Jesuits, he died in Rome shortly after beginning his novitiate.
On the reverse it features our Mother of Devotion "Mater Pietatis". This religious medal has a light copper color.

Overall good antique condition with some signs of ages. It is slightly twisted at the top.
