An exceptionnal French gothic revival sculpture made of plaster. The wall lantern features a fantastic creature (gargoyle, chimera, griffin, dragon) as you can see on Notre Dame de Paris cathedral for instance, holding a metal lantern with green glass pane. Beautiful patina. This XXL French wall sconce would bring a Victorian ambiance to your interior design.
CONDITION: the lantern is currently made for a candle because it is not electrified. The nose of the gargoyle has been broken. Wears of the patina.
