Italian Majolica Centerpiece Nove Mermaid Fish
A beautiful antique Italian majolica centerpiece dating to the 19th century. The ceramic depicts a fish carrying a shell decorated with a fantastic mermaid with wings or angel of the sea. Gorgeous floral decor. Highly decorative piece, very rare to find. Can be used as a luxurious fruits bowl
It bears a blue cross mark at the bottom that seems to be a Nove ceramic mark.
CONDITION: Overall good antique condition with some signs of ages: some fingers are broken and a splinter on the tail of the fish.
