Beautiful vintage ceramic mirror created by French artist Marie-Thérèse Espelt, known as Mithé (1923-2020). The decoration depicts a pink and white bird in verdant foliage adorned with pink berries or flowers. The rest of the frame is beautifully gilded. This sweet mirror will bring a breath of fresh air into your home.

It dates from the 60s and 70s. The back is covered with green felt.

For many years, Mithé Espelt remained an anonymous ceramist, never signing her work. Today, she is recognized for having created a poetic, joyful and colorful style all her own, in which flowers and birds flourish.

Très beau miroir vintage en céramique créé par l'artiste Française Marie-Thérèse Espelt, dite Mithé (1923-2020). Le décor représente un oiseau rose et blanc dans un feuillage verdoyant orné de baies ou fleurs roses. Le reste du cadre est magnifiquement doré. Ce doux miroir apportera un vent de fraicheur dans votre intérieur. 

Il date des années 60-70. Le dos est couvert d'une feutrine verte.

Ne signant pas ses oeuvres, Mithé Espelt est longtemps demeurée une céramiste anonyme. Aujourd'hui, elle est reconnue pour avoir créer un style poétique, joyeux et coloré bien à elle, dans lequel s'épanouissent fleurs et oiseaux.
