"Automne à Versailles" Painting by Rachel Georges Roux
A beautiful French antique watercolor painting on paper with painted wooden frame. The painting portrays an elegant woman smelling a gorgeous bunch of flowers in the Versailles chateau garden in autumn. Colors are vivid and details charming. Magnificent French Art Deco work of art, entitled "Fall in Versailles". It has been signed by the artist Rachel Georges Roux (late 19th century-20th century) who worked as illustrator for the newspaper "Les Annales" in the 1920's.
The watercolor is protected by a glass pane and enhanced by a silvered wooden frame.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. The frame has been repaired.
