A fabulous French antique holy water font from the Art Deco period. The silver plated medallion finely features a beautiful portrait of Our Lord Jesus Christ and a communicant. This design has been after a painting of Ary Scheffer (1795-1858): a great painter of the 19th century. The medallion is mounted on a marble plaque made of green and black plaques. The water font is made of glass. The back is protected by a brass plaque.
Overall good antique condition with some signs of ages like wears of the silverplated; the right black marble plaque has been repaired. Take a close look at the photos.
