A rare vintage French holy water font dating to the late 19th century (1880's). The Catholic wall piece is made of three enamelled plaques set in an ormolu bronze mount. The blue plaques are finely decorated with a floral design. The plaque of the middle features the Holy Face of Jesus, Veronica Veil Shroud. Rare and beautiful design of high quality ! The water container is made of glass. On the back, there is an antique label with the name of the French city: Paray Le Monial.

CONDITION: Good antique condition with some normal signs of ages, a crack on the bottom plaque. The velvet that covered the back is missing on two plaques. Please take a close look at the photos.
