This is a superb staircase post finial / furniture finial / curtain rod finial made of gilded wood, dating to the middle of the 19th century, circa 1850. Elegant and sumptuous design that will bring a French chateau touch. This hand turned finial could be used on top of a newel post at the foot of a staircase.

Good antique condition with some normal traces of ages and an antique patina and old wood worms holes. Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
