A French antique pair of large curtain rod holders / holdbacks. The hand turned wood has been coated with gesso and gilded. They feature an elegant classic design. The gilt catches the light and the eyes. They come from a French chateau and date from the late 19th century. Their large length enables them to be used to hold curtain poles as to hold curtains and twisted silk cords of holdback tassels
This pais pair is a must-have to decorate any spacious room with French accents.
