Good Shepherd Medal by Johnson

A beautiful French antique religious medal dating to the early 20th century. The Catholic pendant depicts Jesus the Good Shepherd.

"Pastor Bonus Animam Suam Dat Pro Ovibus Suis" This Latine sentence means in English: "The Good Shepherd Gives His Soul For His Own"

The reverse of this large amulet features Pope Leo XIII (1810-1903) and has been signed by the engraver Johnson.
