A large French antique religious medal made of solid sterling silver (harllmarked). The Catholic pendant features the Guardian Angel with a child. This design was created by the French engraver Adrien Vachette (1753-1839). "Mon enfant allons au Ciel" "My child let's go to Heaven"
The reverse depicts Mary, standing, hand clasped, crushing the snake with her feet. At the bottom, you can read : Saint Ursula of Villefranche.
