A French antique wall pocket made of hand painted earthenware. The fleur de lis shaped wall vase depicts a Breton peasant wearing traditional clothes and celtic motifs. It has been produced by the pottery factory of Henriot Quimper in the late 19th century. The HR mark is inside the wall pocket.
"The mark HR used without the addition of "Quimper" was affixed on earthenware parts from 1891 by the factory Henriot. By 1900 this monogram stops being only used and we find then "HR Quimper"."
This French wall pocket would be amazing filled with fresh flowers and would add to your home a French touch.
