A rare antique religious standing plaque dating to the early 20th century. The silverplated plaque's design is finely detailed. It depicts Jesus Christ knocking and opening a door. At the bottom, there is the sentence: "J'ai frappé et vous m'avez ouvert" "I knocked and you opened the door" It is the representation of Matthew 7:7: "“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
It was made by the famous French master engraver and sculptor L.Tricard. It is enhanced by a carved wood frame.

Good antique condition with some normal signs of ages like wears on the silverplate. There is a ring to hang it on the wall.
