Beautiful French antique fish serving set decorated with a fine Louis XV style design. Handles features an ornate decor and the opennwork upper parts are finely engraved. Handles have been engraved with the first owner monogram: BG.
This set includes a fish fork and knife. They are made of sterling silver handle and silver plated upper parts. Each piece bears the French sterling silver hallmark on the handle: Minerva's Head, first title meaning they are in .950 silver (95% pure and so a bit higher than the .925 standard for “sterling” silver).
