A beautiful French rosary, made of 59 fine mother of pearl beads. This lovely religious necklace dates from the early 20th century. The connector medal finely depicts a portrait of Mary and the Holy Face of Jesus on the reverse. Pater beads are framed by two small medals depicting Mary or the Assumption, or Jesus or the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The rosary is gold-plated on sterling silver (vermeil). The connector and the crucifix bear the French sterling silver hallmark. High quality rosary with a beautiful size, it measures around 24 inches (61cm) long.
