This is a wonderful French rosary dating to the 19th century. It has been made from sterling silver and red cherry and butterscotch baltic amber beads. The reliquary cross is finely decorated with Jesus and Mary corpus. It opens to protect a relic (no relic inside). The centerpiece is magnificent, it features the dove of peace with the words: "Ave Maria". Pater beads have been made from sterling silver beads with Sacred hearts and Cross motifs . Rare and very beautiful rosary.
Condition: there are 59 beads. Baltic amber beads are fragiles. There are different splinters. One has been broken and glued. Three beads are oval. Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
