A fabulous French antique fruits centerpiece made of majolica by Sarreguemines. The large piece features a blue bowl full of fresh fruits: apples, grapes etc. The beautiful glaze finish is brilliant and glossy and colors are intense. This rare Sarreguemines bowl would be wonderful in a kitchen and would add a country ambiance.
Mint condition ! it is hard to believe that it dates from the 1880's and so is more than 130 years old. The troupe l'ceil centerpiece bears the deep stamp of Sarreguemines. Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
