Seashell Trinket Bowl
A beautiful French antique handmade trinket bowl from the 1920's. This unusual piece has been created with a natural seashell which has been cut. The colorful piece displays a hand painted seascape with a boat and the portrait of a sailor.
This kind of seashell art used to be French seaside holidays souvenir in the 1920's, during the Belle Epoque. It shows the begining of the seashore tourism on the Normandy coast.
