A beautiful French antique majolica wall plate dating to the early 20th century. The ducky blue glaze is shiny. The decorative plate depicts a fine portrait of St Joan of Arc designed by the artist H.Mercier. At the top, it is written "Paris". This plate was an advertising plate ordered by the company "les 100 000 chemises" created in 1880 in Paris.
